Hey Saddleup, did my buddy EJ make it out there for the Friday wheelin trip?
He has the flames in the front end, bead locks, black rims on 37" MTR's?
Sorry I couldn't make it, too much going on at the last second. First SOB I missed. I almost feel naked for some reason... %)

Sunday Report Continued:
Following the ramp on Sunday we spent a couple of hours getting camp pretty well packed up. We had beautiful weather right up until then when we started getting some drizzle which coninued on and off the rest of the day. After packing up camp we headed out for a final run on the sand and to say goodbye's to old and new friends.

To wrap up my report we had a blast the entire time and will hope to see many of you again next year where it will be the 10th. anniversary for SOB and will also be the 40th. anniversary for the Bronco so it should be the best one yet. I'll see if I can a few short video clips to put up here off my video now that I've gone through the camera shots.

Not sure. What color is it? There were about 10 rigs that were with other leaders so there is a good chance of it. (None with my group match that description) Out of the 34 that signed up we ended up with 25 or 26 I think. 3 or 4 I already knew would not make it that contacted me beforehand though. One blew an engine and a couple of others had things come up that put them arriving later than expected.

Here are the only ones I took... forgot my camera for a lot of it.

The first three are the group photos from the bottom of the bowl.
The next 5 after that are pics of me (with almost no front flex), SaddleUp, and another yellow bronco on the RTI ramp.
The two after those are of a Cheby that got stuck on the beach...%) and then the tide came in. ;D ;D
And the last one is one of Ron's (BroncoSport) friends in a nice Ranger pre-runner.

Am I just on the CrackPipe as well, or is that a superduty stuck out in the ocean in one of the photos.

Here it is out in the ocean. Photo says it's a chevy. I guess that's what you get when you drive a chevy.

That isn't a Super Duty. It's a Chevy Z71 if I recall right. Your right it was kinda stuck. I think the snorkel failed on that one.

Found a few more...

The first two nicely display the diference between a 28 spline axle and a 35 spline axle. ;D

The next three are just random shots I took of my rig.

My goodness SaddleUp, that is by far the best event coverage I have ever seen here !

I hope you can make one of our OCBR's one day and that I can make one of these.

Thanks for the contribution and keep on wheeling

it's the second year i've donated for that event. it's one of the best if not the best for exposure. they seem to be a good group of folks. i'd like to get out there someday.i might try to get out for the 40th Fab show.
hope the winners of my products enjoy them.
thanks for the update

SaddleUp, you did a great job writing up the trip. I think that you should submit it to Bronco Driver Mag... I did not hear if they had sent anyone out like last year. I just thank God that you did not have to winch me out during the poker run this year. I think it was the first year that I actually completed it. I was in the lead until just about the end when a flush took me out. I had the money already spent in a new exhaust that I desperately need.
Hope to get a lot more done on the bronco this year, so I can join the trail run next year.
I think all in all it as a good trip and I did not hear about a lot of major damage to the broncos like last year....
By the way, Georgia had a blast playing with your daughter...

Here you go. I saw a quick clip of mine in there as well. What is even more wild is to cruise by the big screen on the sand and see your truck on end up on the screen when you didn't even know there was video from it.

This post and the one following it are of the pictures Amac70 has on the other site.

The rest of Amac70's pics. A few of them had some corruption though and refused to post except as attachments.

I had only reached one checkpoint when I dropped out even though I knew where 3 of the others were by then. When I dropped out I had managed to go up onto an ATV trail where half of the ATV's got stuck trying to back out so I could get back out. I knew I was getting to far in when I barely fit between 2 trees and then the trail narrowed to about 3' wide. The one I ended up winching out was on the opposite side of where we winched yours last year. Next year I think I'll stand by to do rescues during it.

The ones below are clips taken from my video camera which are not the greatest quality. I do the same thing with pictures. I start out okay but then I get wrapped up in the fun and don't get very many pics. I'll plan on making another run before too long. I would like to get at least one more in before winter sets in.
