So I am looking for a solution to integrate an armrest into my soft doors.

Also would like to hear about weather stripping solutions for these suckers. I am tired of the cold air creeping in between the door and the insert.

Thx.

Any hardware store should have a wide selection of weatherstrips that you can choose from, based on your particular configuration.

These armrests are VERY solid, and will work with ANY door: ;D

Depending on how tight your door skins are to the frame you can take the skins off and use cheap hardware adheasive weatherstripping and peel the back and sprial it around the steel frame and then put the skin back on. this will give you a squishy edge for the door to seal. On my Bronco with a Kayline soft top I installed extra adheasive weather stripping on the removable frames for around the door and then wrapped the soft top around that. That gave it a squishy edge for the door to seal to. If the air leakage is still bad try leaving the rear unzipped a little so that any air rushing in from the front is pushed out the back instead of leaking around you making you feel uncomfortable. Same with running the heater with fresh air and presurerizing the cab front and forcing air out instead of outside pressure forcing air in the truck. The hardest part to seal is the soft door junction where the insert meets the windshield frame. There is alot of ram air in that location.
