• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Last I heard, StJamesAuto on this site was mailing a check. Sounded like a done deal, but looking like he must have lost my contacts.
Lots of interest, but still in my stall.

Sorry....I got a little sidetracked. I can stick a check in the mail for it ASAP but I would like for you to fix the transmission leak for me. Hard to spend 20 grand on it and have to yank out the trans before I can drive it. Deal? 573-231-2507

I thought we had a deal? The offer negotiated was more then enough to take care of any issues. It won't hurt my feelings if you decide it's to risky and want to withdraw your offer and at this point, it appears you have. I have a local guy that wants to take a look at it this weekend "as is". If it doesn't sell, I'll find the time to put it on the lift and repair the leak. I've considered swapping out the Atlas to put in my '68, so that might happen if it goes on the lift. I've been getting a lot of offers on the injection, so I may part with some of the extras as well. I'll update any changes if it gets that far.
Not, trying to be an a$$, just laying it all out there............Crab

I am still taking offers and considering a couple right now. STJamesauto, I have PMD you with my contact info which is also located in the first post of this thread. One offer that I'm considering is cash plus this explorer. Does anybody know what these things are worth? It has been worked over including manual transfer case, lockers, torsion bar delete kit with front Coil overs, 5.0 with headers and Borah exhaust. Came from the Midwest so does have very light cancer from road salt. Not sure of the miles but runs good. Is $3500 realistic?

Thanks JW. This is a great opportunity for someone. I know I'll regret selling it, but I can't take it with me........I may come to my senses and keep it for another year:-X

I have not addressed the trans leak. I'm at my bottom dollar the way it sits. If it doesn't sell soon, I'm going to pull it off the market and try again in the spring at a higher price.
I've never had the need to drive it on the pavement with the hubs locked in, and I wouldn't advise it.

A Detroit will have no effect on street driving (in 2wd with the hubs out). I've had a few rigs with Detroits in the front and think they work very well on the trail in 4wd.

Bump for ya.
