Someone please explain the Coyote?

Didn't they use the name Lynx too? And I think Mercury pinto's were pony's.
Well Damn, I guess coyote is about the only cool animal name left.

If I remember right the Lynx the Mercury version of the Ford Escort.

As for the new coyote 5.0 and the 302 5.0, old hemi new hemi, new/old mustang , and long hair back in style. I'm getting my parachute pants out of storage.

I had one of those, it was a lot of fun. Sunbeam/Roots Group body & a Ford 260.

Mercury's version of the Pinto was called the Bobcat. While Ford was running horses, Merc had cats.

I have seen Mercury versions of Ford pickups (Canadian?). Were there ever any Mercs built on a Bronco platform?
