Brought something a little bit different to the shop to restore. I purchased this very rare 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport coupe equipped with a "k" code high performance 289 and a toploader 4 speed transmission, the ultimate "sleeper" This one was literally sitting in a barn for the past 25 years. We are calling this one "Grandpas Car" Mark in San Diego, Beach City Broncos.

Congratulations! That car looks familiar - was it on Barn Finds or elsewhere recently? I'd like to build one of those in a mild Pro-Touring style someday.

My first car was a 62 Fairlane 500, 2 door with a 221 V8 and a 2 spd Ford-O-Matic in it. Cool car, great find and post up the progress - interested here!
