I am finishing up the interior. Ordered two boxes of Kilmat off Amazon for about $60 a piece. 36sqft per box. The floor and wheel wells took about a box and a third. The top took the rest plus more. I had to order another box. BTW, Amazon is ridiculous, I ordered the box at 9PM and had the order by 8AM the next morning. I am waiting on a headliner from Toms and will order vinyl flooring from Stock Interiors once I receive the color samples. The biggest change was when I did the doors. What a difference. Overall, the ride is a lot more quiet and the Bronco just feels more solid. The instructions called for wearing gloves, but I could not see why. Well, the aluminum is sharp and I have a thousand tiny cuts all over my hands.

Well worth the ~$180 and day an a half of work. Fortunately, I did not have much of the interior installed so I just had to pull the front seats. I wish I had done it prior to installing the firewall insulation from Toms.

Quick question on the third pic, of the wheel well. It appears that it is setup for both a rear and front tank, but I only have the rear. When ordering the flooring, there is an option for 1 gas tank or 2. I am assuming that is need to order the one for 2. Thoughts?

Will

Nice! Any considerations when putting sound deadener on the inside of the doors like areas not to cover? I was just thinking of adding some there.

No. I put it where I could reach. I wiped the inside down well and let it dry. I also put some on the back side of the door cards. The door is definitely heavier. I might need to adjust it a bit. It requires a little more force to close it correctly.

Looks great. I was planning on doing this to my doors once I get them all welded back up. I appreciate the info about where to buy this on Amazon.

Keep posting pix.

Found a pic of my 2 tank rear flooring. This is upside down so the top left is the piece that goes on the drivers side rear. At the bottom left you can see the cut out for that secondary fuel compartment and the small piece that tucks in against the quarter panel. I believe that is the only different between 1 tank and 2 tank flooring. The 1 tank piece would be much wider than that 3" flap

What color are you leaning towards?

I have ordered a color sample for black, grey and beige. I will likely go with the grey.

After seeing your post, i ordered the sound deadener off Amazon. I couldn't believe how heavy the box was. Hopefully, will get to it soon once it stops raining. I can see how it will add weight to the doors

Does that stuff all seal together tight? What happens if the interior gets wet or rained on? Will the water get trapped?

Yes it is very sticky and seals tight to the next piece or the panel. Nothing getting under it if you use a roller to finish the edges

Whatever you can do to kill any tinny sound is good! I've used Peel N Stick from Lowes on other cars. Probably not as heavier as the Kilmat but the price was right ($17 per roll)

@Smedley... just gonna cover with carpet?

I did quiet it down quite a bit. Still noisy at highway speeds but much better now. I am leaning towards putting this vinyl flooring in. https://www.stockinteriors.com/moldedvinyl.asp?Itemid=13163&ModelId=221

I just got samples of it yesterday.

I'm just thinking that you're gonna need the 2-tank option from the pic and what I've seen on my 2-tank setup.
