Does the bass make your drinks in the console spill?
Haha
Very nice Bud.
I have built similar set ups through the years.
Great minds think alike.;)

Naw no spills ;D, but the bass is subtle and kick-ass, you feel it more than hear it, right? makes a BIG difference. It was a perfect fit and worked out great.

Sound System

I looked for months on what to do for a stereo in my Bronco. My goal here was to keep everything original and make it look like there was no sound system at all.

I had them mount a small marine stereo in the glove box (see link below). It doesn't have a CD player, but has Bluetooth and USB ports for digital files.

I have a RF remote that controls the stereo even with the glove box closed.

I then have 2 small speakers (not sure on size) mounted up under the dash. I don't have a picture of those. Next I had them build a speaker box that fits under the seat. In this box there is an amplifier, fan and four 4 inch speakers. The amplifier is hooked up to all speakers (under seat, under dash and subwoofer). They outfitted it with a grill painted parchment and then the Bronco logo. The outside of the box is painted to match the floor (with the "Rhinoliner texture").

I bought an old cooler from the 1950's. It fits perfectly behind the back seat and the tailgate. It is outfitted with a 10 inch subwoofer and it is bolted to the floor.

Here are a few links for the stereo components. Also my photobucket gallery of pictures.

I used the BC Broncos Media Console, Pyle Bluetooth Marine amp, and a couple speakers. Power comes from the dome light wiring. I like it because it is all self contained and pulls music from my phone. Not gonna blow the doors off but doesn't sound bad, especially with the speakers right up front!

This is what I did. I had to build the woofer enclosure and all components are marine. I did a radio delete in the dash and put it in the tuffy center console. Wiring to the back is ran through the bottom bar of the roll cage.

Not to hijack this, but what is everyone doing for anti-theft protection on the wakeboard speakers? It seems like someone could just walk up and unscrew the wingnut, unplug the speakers and walk away?

On ours, we just recommend you put a hex nut on them.
The chance that someone in the parking lot of a store is going to have the right wrench on them and the time is slim.

Long term parking, you can pop them off fast.
