I got a good start on the port work today... Kids wanted to bake cookies so I called it quits for today.

You've had some time on your hands then, it's changed a bunch over the years.

Lol, I wish! It's hard to keep the kids working on their own stuff, let alone mine. They do help from time to time.

Porting is done... Big difference from the stock to the ported Edelbrock. Now just to wait on the rest of the intake tubing and couplings from Summit.

Wow - I didn't even look when I slapped my intakes on, probably should do that next time I've got it apart :p

With my heads ported to the big Fel-Pro gaskets like I'm doing my intake, I'm sure it's going to make a big difference.

Finally got around to installing the new Edelbrock intake, 76 mm C&L mass air w/24 lbs injectors, 70 mm Edelbrock/BBK throttle body along with new intake tubing. Throttle response is quicker and crisper, seat of the pants feel is quite a bit better too. Drove it about 10 miles and the results were worth it!

Na, not too concerned on what it's making.... That's just bragging rights.

going to the dyno is way more than just bragging rights, its about squeezing all the good out of it;D

That is if the guy running it knows how to tune. It made a HUGE difference in how mine ran. Next time your headed west on 44 schedule a few hours to stop at Showme Speed in Springfield, its money and time well spent.
