Speakers and radio install advice

I'm thinking of installing a radio and speakers in my Bronco. I don't know the best layout that will get the job done. I was told to do 2 speakers below the dash in the center, custom speaker boxes above the rear wheels and a sub and amp below the rear seat. It is expensive and I want to make sure I am adding value to the car and keeping the aesthetic look in tact. Does anyone have any good advice on the best way to add a good music system to these beautiful machines while not taking away from the styling?

I put polk audio marine grade speakers in mine. The kick pods are 5.5" and rear quarter panels are 6x9". I got them from the bronco hut. The Amp is mounted under the passenger seat and the 10" sub will go in the pass rear corner once I build and glass a box for it.

You got to get that sub box design figured out. When you do I am copying that for chandlers:p

if I have time this week, I will hopefully get the box built, taking care of the last of my leak issues and transfer seat

Did someone say sub box design?
I've already been asked by friends when I am redoing the setup in my Bronco [based off previous vehicles and home setups].

If you want to talk about design I've got WinISD and BoxNotes and Term-PRO and.....
Custom speaker design are a secondary habit of mine.
I've since added roundovers to them to mimic the sub and repainted. 18" ported to 22Hz with 1k amp. The floors and mains are (2) 8" with a 3" mid and a ribbon tweeter [center has different cx design for voice projection]. Rears are single 4.5/ribbon setup.
if y'all want some pics, but photobucket ate some too

I did a heater delete and put in a small JL Audio based system including Bluetooth controller, 4 channel amp, 4” main speakers and 8” subwoofer. Controller is on steering column surround and everything else is in or under the dash. Will get plenty loud but sound stage is low. iPhone is source unit.

Would it make sense to install dual speakers (in addition to speakers in the rear side panels) below the dash in a custom box or in the dash where the grate is near the glove box?

They make pods for the kick panels, but I've been happy with putting some in between the spreaders of a roll cage.

Also depends on what you want. Sound quality? Pressure? Volume? etc.
