Speedometer rebuild troubles

Rebuilding the odometer portion of the cluster. I have gotten it back to 000000 but when I put it all back together, I can run it with a drill in reverse to test it and it keeps stopping (getting caught up) with only a few miles rung up on it. First at 2.2 miles, reset it...then 4.0 miles and again at only 3.0 miles. It runs smooth up to the point where it gets caught up. Gears seem fine. Any ideas? Really like to repair it myself if possible, before having to sent it to the fella in Utah.

Thanks,
Andy

I rebuilt mine myself following the tech article a guy named Dan Thomas did. I emailed him at the time when I thought I messed something up and he responded from this email address.( jeepster886@yahoo.com) He may have updated info in his profile. I did not test mine with a drill, I just put it back together and installed it. I did one after that with no problems. Also you could contact the classy chassis guy that rebuilds them Here is his phone number. 801-673-2933

Thanks guys...I talked with Kevin today at Classy Chassis. Man what a nice helpful guy. Gonna have it sent out and rebuilt so that I know I'm not gonna run into issues later.

Thanks,

Andy
