Can someone tell me what size spot weld drill bit I will need to replace a rocker panel. Where is the best place to get them?

99% of body men just use a 3" cut off wheel and grind the weld. It's quicker and cheaper.

I have used the spot weld cutters and drill bits. I have found that a DeWALT 3/8" pilot point titanium drill bit works as good if not better than the spot weld cutters. Plus they are cheaper.

I am in the process right now of replacing my entire floor pans and front two channel supports. I used the Harbor Freight spot weld bit. These took a little bit to get the hang of but once I figured it out it went really fast. Get a decent center punch, I used the Harbor Freight one and it is now dead, but it served its purpose.

I'd say for $5 a drill bit, they were well worth it. I haven't even flipped over to the other side yet.
