Can anybody post a pictures of their square roadster style mirrors? As many of the mounting bracket and rear of the mirror if possible.

Thank you

1968 Roadsters had the same square mirror with an extra support bracket. Sorry for the poor picture that all I could come up with.

thanks for the pics guys

So for sure 68 had the extra bracket?

Does anybody know what type of mirrors were on the military broncos? Would that be 2 67 style mirrors?

Also is anybody aware if they are the same mounting brackets for 66 and 67 but just different heads?

Thanks again! I may try and collect pictures of all 3 of the types of roadster mirrors and make a post on it if I can for anyone else interested

Military's should have the square mirror head. Yes same mounting brackets. Another option on the 66-67 mirrors was the telescopic adjustable post between the fender bracket and mirror head.

'66 mirrors are the round heads with the single stem mount. '67 mirrors are single stemmed but with a rectangular head. As for the '68 mirror, I have seen two versions. The first being the tripod look like pictured above here with the rectangular head. The second being that with the single stem and rectangular head. Not sure why in '68 but definitely there were both scenarios.

are they all Fomoco and bronco specific parts or?

Also, can we confirm if there are more than one style of square head? it appears there are two...one skinnier than the other

This is what was on mine. Although mine was disguised as a 68 wagon until I noticed eye brow grill and then found the vin on frame. So who knows if this is even close to factory style. Either way its square. Hope it helps. I'm glad all these other guys are here with true knowledge. I'm just a baby at all this. It's fun learning. Jason.

Clint, if you are not looking for a true "stock" offering, Google Grote #28252-5. It used to be available in chrome, but now is only in powder coated black.

I have seen two styles of rectangular mirror heads. They had slightly different stampings on the back, but neither have a rubber surround, just metal to glass.

These are what I would consider correct for late 67 and 68 roadsters.
Please post up if you have any comments.
