First, you might try adjusting the linkage correctly with new rubber gromets. Find an original manual that covers the procedure. Broncos are bad about poor shifting and jamming between gears, even when adjusted correctly, since the linkage is so long and sloppy. The manual has detailed instructions for proper adjustments. This may correct your problem...or it may not.

Can I get a hold of an original manual? What about getting new rubber gromets. I am new to the bronco and am just getting started with some projects.
