I just got back on this problem this week. Problem is a vibration at any rpm over 2000. Heres the back story, Had a new diaphram clutch installed, old flywheel was resurfaced by a reputable machine shop. Clutch disc, pressure plate, tob, and pilot bearing came in a kit (LUK) from the same machine shop (Feltons clutch in Chatt). The vibration is a constant "humming" type felt more in the "seat of the pants" it starts mildly enough at around 2k and becomes more pronounced to 3k rpm. This is NOT a driveline problem, happens in neutral while stationary, clutch in or out, trans in gear with clutch in, etc. All accessories removed, still there. Ignition gone over, everything seems good. All mounts are good, no exhaust touching the frame/body.
Is there any way or procedure to definitively eliminate or confirm the clutch/pp/flywheel as the source of the problem? This is really annoying, not "stop me from driving it" annoying, but it's a problem i'd like to resolve.
Thanks for your time
Greg
