Stock electric wipers added to my 1966

I am in the middle of redoing the wiring on my 1966 and I have decided to add electric wipers to my project. I had a stock electric switch and motor from a 1972 EB so I figured why not try (I already have the switch installed in the dash). I am using a Kwik Wire 14 circuit harness for the rewiring and there isn't a "direct way" to get the switch wired in so I decided to research the CB group before jumping in and I ran across a few posts mentioning this type of swap - most are using aftermarket setups though.

Anyone ever wire-in a stock electric Bronco wiper set-up into a 66 Bronco using an aftermarket wiring harness?

Looking for tips and pitfalls before I start hacking!

Thanks in advance
Chris

The holes for the wipers are different spacing in the windshield
frame. . Either drill new holes or extend the mechanism.

I upgraded my 68 to electric wipers. I used a 73 windshield, and the stock wiper set up from the same donor vehicle and then added F150 intermittent wipers. I used the Centech harness. It took a bit of trial and error but many threads and experts here helped me to get it done.

There is an after market Electric Wiper unit for the Early Bronco and made by Newport Engineering.

They have two versions. One is for a replacement of the Vacuum Wiper system (66 to early 69). Direct bolt On.

Check with these guys to confirm before drilling or replacing your current Windshield Frame.

Thanks for the posts everyone; I've been able to utilize the original Bronco switch, new wiring harness, original windshield (with redrilled holes and hole repair) to get the wipers to work.
