Is the passenger seat footman loop supposed to angle forward or backward when mounted??

Good question. I think it's forward.
Better wait for confirmation though. I haven't looked at mine in awhile!

Pretty sure, yes. However, you just never know about them pesky '66 and '67 models!
Hard to say about them...

All the ones I've ever noticed though, were identical.

Same as Paul all the ones I have seen have all been the same I ordered one about 6 months after I bought mine from toms never installed though went with after market seats and just direct bolted the seat. Now I have my third set of seats and hopefully last set went with Corbeau Baja SS, so if you don't have a footman loop you can have mine its brand new just pay shipping.
