Where do you guys store your hard top when it's off. My wife wants it out of the back yard and I'm stumped as to where to keep it. She asked if I could design something to suspend it from the garage celing. I see bad things happening there. Just thought maybe you guys might have some thought on this since at least one of you is married as well. ;)

I have mine hanging in the garage upside down. Has been safely hanging there for the last 9 years. Hasn't been on since. I just drilled the rafters for 5/16 or 3/8 eye bolts and got some chain S hooks and about 20 ft of chain. My garage has a very low roof line and it fits just fine between the rafters. You need 4 eye bolts for the top and 3 buddies to help turn over and lift or a couple of buddies and a rope block and tackle. I've had 2 tops hanging in the garage when I used to own an 83 Bronco with a ragtop.

I just could not leave mine outside since it already is starting to rust, it looks like shit out there and storing it attached to the rafters blocks a lot of light in the garage so........out came the sawzall last weekend and now it's in 5 pieces waiting for me to take it to a dumpster. It really had more rust than I thought after cutting it so it was no big loss to me.

Sure did, honestly there are hardtops for sale around here all the time for $50 and up...mine had holes drilled through it for antennas and light wires I suppose and it had a fair amount of rust on it...and plenty under the headliner. I really don't ever plan on using a hardtop again, maybe if I drive it a lot in the winter but I have a Scoobaru to commute with as well.
