This is a great distributor! I am running this in my 76. I had horrible detonation issues and even had a distributor curved for me and it still didn't fix the problem. Installed this one a couple years ago, put in the right limiting bushing and spring, and now I run 12 degrees of advance with no troubles. This also lets you get rud of all the Duraspark wiring. Summit confirmed this is a rebadged Mallory.
