OK, so I finaly bought a set of these from Driven Auto awhile back. I went to bolt one on the passenger side, and there is a boss coming off of the block in front of the motor mount that prevents the mount from sitting flush. Any one else run into this? They only go on one way from what I can tell. It's hitting where the arrow is. See the pic.

I too run the Extreme Motor mounts. They are an investment that has probably saved countless money on damage to other parts.

Whether you use these mounts, turnbuckles, chain or pin the HD mounts, make sure you do something. You will not regret it !

Since everyone is running these extreme style mounts can you guys post up some pictures of the mount apart (if anyone has some) and some measurements for me?

What thickness metal is used on the various parts of the mount.
What is the outside Dia. of the poly bushing and the dimensions in the attached picture? Is the main part of the mount a piece of angle iron or is it two pieces welded together?

Thanks guys!

Pat

The Napa factory mounts for the Bronco are through-bolted; I believe the F150 mounts raise the motor a bit.

So, has anyone had to grind off the front of the mounting plate to clear that oil galley plug on the paasenger side (see previously posted pic)? I'm just wondering if this is normal for these mounts?

Hmmm so if I do a set of the F150 mounts, I may not need to modify the radiator shroud when I do my WH one inch body lift.

Very interesting

yet to be determined
Here is a pic of wild horses's mounts. I bought mine from tom's. Dumb question, but do you have them on the wrong sides?? I had no problems with fitment on my 351.

I am thinking along the same line as you on this one.

Very interesting indeed.
