switching from external reg alt to interanl reg alt

what all is invloved? I know the box is elminated ans plugs have to change. Any help/info is good. I am thinking about switching but want info first. Thanks

I used the GM 10si alternator
simple install, bolt into the brackets you have.
wiring was easy too, lots of info on this one.
One wire from the bat terminal to the battery side of the solenoid
A jumper wire from the #2 terminal on the alternator to the BAT terminal of the alternator.
