Switching windshields

I recently bought a new windshield frame and hinge and got it powdercoated. Can I switch my old windshield and the seal from my old rusted frame to the new frame or do I need a whole new windshield and seal? If so how can I do this? Thank you!

I would get a new seal and use your old glass if its not chipped or cloudy.A box cutter will work to cut the old seal and nylon string and a little lube will get the new seal and glass reinstalled in the new frame.There should be a youtube vid to help you do that.
