Tailgate Question

This may be a dumb question, but How do you install a tail gate
onto the hinges? My eb did not have a gate when I got it and now
That I have aquired a used gate it does'nt just drop on like others
I've seen.

It's been almost two years since I took mine off but I believe you have to put the hinges in the holes in the gate and then bolt them to the rear posts with the gate down.

if you look at an F-150 tailgate where the tailgate attaches to the side quarter you'll see round pivots. You will need those. I think the trucks and the broncos are the same.
