Thinking about ordering a set of Tom's front buckets and the matching folding rear seat. I have a 2 and 4 yr old, so I will be using the rear with car seats for some time. Thought/feedback? Rec's?
Much appreciated.

Bet the shipping was something else on that--but I've seen pics and they look nice

I just installed the whole setup from TBP. Fronts are nice with the added bolstering on the side. Rear is firm and solid. I like that the back has head rests for added safety. Should hold car seats really good I would think.

I think they are a little firm and I didn't like the stock seat material. Other then that they are the same as the bestops, but with brackets.

I bought a set for my Bronco and put both my kids in the back with car seats. Good seat, kinda cheap material, should do great for my purpose. They are not for a restoration quality vehicle, yet they look really nice in my trail rig.

I have the three seat set. I really like the fronts, very comfortable for me, no comfort complaints. My drivers side has about an inch tear already, happened when I was installing new wire harness. I must have slid in and out of that seat 100s of times to check this and that, and it tore. Need to try to get it fixed, or maybe even better, get some good firing seat covers. So my complaint about the fronts, maybe not terribly durable, and the fabric shows every spec of dirt. The rear, mine is without headrests, maybe an older version. I sat in it once, terribly uncomfortable for anyone larger than a small child. I have an 8yo girl, and she never complained, but I hate the fact that it has no headrest. We are a family of three, and I have entertained the idea of centering a single TBP bucket seat in the back. Probably won't do it, but it is a thought.

I'd say they are worth it as far as cost, but what does shipping look like? If you buy local, you might get much better seats, as in Mastercraft. Can't you get Mastercraft fronts for 1000 bucks? I would assume the three seat set from Toms would come close to 1000 bucks shipped. If so, I'd go that route, than get lucky and find an original Bronco rear, or better yet, buy the Mastercraft rear bucket/bench, that would be tops in my opinion!
