Guy, I keep looking at paint chips and I'm having a heck of a time deciding. TCP has great prices on their paints and I want a BRIGHT turquoise or aqua color.

So from the samples I like:

Gulfstream Aqua Metallic (but I'm afraid its too blue.)

Tropical Turquoise (again, looks like it may be too blue)

Light Aqua

Mint

Has anyone done their bronco in these colors? I'm looking for something like this:

Tyler (Teal) on here has one that looks pretty close to that. Color might be in his post. It does look really nice. Ken

Mine was originally Lunar Green- I initially wanted to go back with the same...

My paint shop convinced me to go with Caribbean Turquoise and in retrospect I’m glad they did. I took some liberties on the orange accents

Caribbean Turquoise body
Wimbledon white trim
Clemson orange pinstripe and accents

That tropical turquoise looks great! It is so much nicer to see how it looks on the Bronco compared to a paint chip or computer monitor. So it looks like it is TCP’s name for Carribian Turquoise. Both Broncos have that bright blue/green look I want.

Thanks guys. Once I started wading into colors, I became less and less sure about which was the best fit.

Thanks guys, this solves it for me. I love the look of the tropical turquoise! Gray Gables, I did originally look at ‘69 paint codes, but this Bronco is so far from original. I’m also pretty set on turquoise because it was my grandmothers favorite color and her name was on the original title too.
