My workplace is teaming up with Tesla for a small project. I drove down St. Simons today to meet with the Regional Sales Director, we had lunch at Southern Soul BBQ...that place is the daddy. Nice looking Lubr sitting out front, anyone recognize it? The Tesla was amazing btw, ludicrous mode scared me a little bit. Image1465436025.775945.jpg Image1465436044.960312.jpg

Sounds like a tough day Bob :) My cousin test drove a Tesla last week and said it was scary fast.... That Bronco looks familiar.

Great to hear from you Mark. That car was impressive, it drove itself.

A good customer/friend of mine has a Tesla. I managed to convince him to let me drive his and I let him drive my bronco. Yes the Tesla is holy sh*t fast and crazy technology. Drove itself down the road, stayed between the lanes etc etc.
However I still think I like my bronco better. I can fix my bronco!

Badass, cool contrast between the old school Bronco tech and the cutting edge new Tesla tech

It was a great day, and you're right, we spanned almost half a century of automobile technology in minutes. I love em both....and the BBQ was righteous.

You can't beat a Tesla! Whats the project? Very cool bronco. Wonder how they set that roof rack through the soft top. BC soft top?

Looks like the Canback top, I don't think the BC front rolls back does it? Mine has roof racks as well.

No thanks on a car that high tech. Give me an early Bronco any day over a Tesla. I always think of my friend with the Prius that paid $600 to get his drivers side headlight working. Bad control board. When my wife's Audi needs a headlight bulb that is going to be $150.

But then also I remember years ago as a teen watching some guy fill up his cabin cruiser with fuel. As the gas pump was rolling past 600 gallons I asked the guy "How much does it cost to fill that thing up?". Of course he says "Son, if you have to ask, you can't afford it.".

Thanks Brew. Check out the BC top. Really close to the Canback. Canback stopped making them for Broncos years ago. Chuck was working closely with Canback and came out with his own version. I think Canback only made 60, so they are difficult to find.

I drove my friend's model S up to Hollywood last month, incredible pickup speed. The center console is crazy large. Looks impressive with the map loaded up.

I added another pic of the top, I thought it was really well done. Cage was also tied into the frame.

Similar to mine, but different. Guess it's a BC Bronco top.
