Got a lot done today.

Wanted to say thanks to "GRUNT1058". I used your procedure, listed in the Paint and Body FAQ section, to POR-15 and line my tub today. Worked great.

Also thanks to "ObscureMachine" and "mp". I got my speedo cluster out and, cleaned up today. Thanks for the tip on waiting for a new voltage regulator and, mapping the wires. Also ordered a new Euro Style kit for the guages. I like the look of the white guages.

Pics of todays work can be seen on page nine and 10 of the link below.

Sorry I couldn't get out there today, I was busy breaking down on my way back from Marshall, TX.

I'll try next time though, sounds like a lot of fun!

Looks great! What did you use to strip the old paint? It was really clean before you recoated it.

I actually had it Soda Blasted. There is a place down here in South Houston that builds soda blast machines. They will do work on cars kinda as a side between jobs. Real quick though.

Spixican....no problem......did you get it fixed or have to tow it home?

Are you planning to top the POR 15 with anything (Bedliner, paint)? I did a 74 I used to own just like that and it was slicker than snot when it got wet. Looks a lot nicer than the job I did though.
