Finally found my first eb...picked this this one up for $600. Frame and axles are in good shape, but the body needs a lot of work . Planning on re-doing the entire body, painting everything, the basic upgrades, small suspension lift with 35" tires. Has a straight six in it now, but i plan on running a mild 400 with a c6.

Here are some pictures after it was unloaded...

I know how that goes...its amazing what just seeing someone else's progress can do for your own motivation.

Welcome. Looks like a good project. Where are you located? If you fill out the rest of your profile it helps other members to know where you are. Any details on what year?

Nice. Looks like you already have power steering. That six may take a while to move. I sat on a 250 I6 out of a modded bronco for a while. Think I ended up getting $125 for it. If it runs, I vote run it while you work on the body. At least then you can take it around the block every once in a while to keep the motivation flowing. Also, the 6 cyl. intermediate housing between the trans and tcase is worth a couple of bucks as it is used in one of the common trans swaps. Good luck and keep the pictures coming. We love pictures around here.

At a second glance those look like V8 engine towers. That I6 may have been swapped in. What is the first half of the vin? Looks like that may have originally been a V8 truck, or frame at least.

It was a V8 someone dropped the 6 in with homemade mounts.
