Its probably cheaper to buy one that is finished.
+1 on that.

Find one with some good stuff and then let her figure out what she wants differently/improved.

I've spent SOOO much money on my build and there is no way I'm gonna get this back if I ever turn stupid enough to sell it.

I ordered Wilwood brakes all around. For the rear the backing plate is 7" which is a touch too big for the rear brakes. Any recommendations? I was told to machine the plate down a bit. What do you think?

Better off getting one done I think. Here is a perfect one for your wife!

If you're trying to duplicate a Velocity Bronco, check out their builds for a list of upgrades.

But to me, a top of the line build would have a Kincer frame, Bronco Design fiberglass body or new repro steel body, Coyote/10R80/Atlas/Currie drive train, ARB lockers front and rear, Duff or Wild Horses suspension (lift size to suit you - 2 1/2? 3 1/2? Plus 1 inch BL?), Wilwood 4-wheel brakes with hydroboost, hardtop or BC Broncos soft top, 17 inch wheels with tire size of your choice (33 or 35?), Painless harness with all LED lighting, Vintage Air AC system, Ididit tilt column, ported steering box with hydro assist from West Texas Offroad, Fox bypass shocks, full custom leather upholstery with seat heaters and full 6 or 8 point family cage. But that's just my dream! LOL
I have a 1970 RUST BUCKET of a Bronco. I want to pretty much build a Britney Blue Velocity Bronco so my wife can drive it around. She obviously needs power everything but I was wondering if anyone had the ultimate list of parts for the car. Suspension, body, exhaust, which power brakes, which power steering, which fuel injection system etc? Like a road map of "here get these parts because based on all the opinions these are the best' kind of thing.
Don't go to Velocity, their a complete rip off and lie through their teeth, BEWARE,
