This might be well known, but I figured I'd throw it out there

When putting on my intake I figured it'd be easier to throw the hood back against the windshield instead of on the support. I put a piece of cardboard along the top of the windshield and laid her back.

It seems there is another area where contact is made: right along the back edge of the hood and the windshield hinge...DOH!!!

Scraped off a fair amount of paint here. :'(

So, if you're gonna toss your hood back to get extra space, make sure to prop it on something so it doesn't go quite this far back.
