I need help, so when I was first taking apart my bronco years ago, amateur me didn't know the importance of saving every piece during the disassembly process. Long story short I cut right through my shift rods that connects the steering column to the transmission thinking no big deal I'll just buy new ones during the assembly. Well I'm ready to assemble and I can't find these rods on any website. Does anyone know where I can buy them????? I have a 69 6cyl, manual.

Call nick at northeast classic Ford parts. 302-397-8537. He should have used ones no problem, even though they might not be listed on his website.

And I'm sure half of us, or more have done something similar to our projects.....I know I have!

I would think that they are different because of the length of the output shaft on the 6 is different from the 8…can’t remember which one is shorter than the other.

I know the tabs on the side ofnthe transmissions are different but I can't remember if the rods were different or if there is enough adjustment to use the same rods.
