when ever im in the sand, and try to reverse from a standstill, the rear end shakes bigtime, or when im backing slowly up a steep hill. what would help this, i have single shocks, could a set of traction bars help? or anything else??

Sounds like axle wrap. It can be exacerbated by lift blocks in the rear. Trac bars would definitely help.

Could be clutch chatter also.
It's odd for either clutch chatter or axle wrap to occur only in reverse tho.
