tire & rim size for uncut bronc

I have seen numerous postings on this subject that include a lot of mixed opinions... I am hoping to get some sound advice..

I have 1970 uncut Bronc with a 2.5 " lift kit... What are the largest tires and rims that I can safely install without facing any issues?

30x9.5 will fit fine. If you fold the inner lip of wheel well up flush, 31x10.5 will fit. Maybe a 33x9.5 or10.5 but that would be really close.

I've got 30X9.50 on my uncut with no lift, and no rubbing( I dont do an real off roading though) you should be able to go bigger with your lift

30" x 9.50" BFG MTs KM on stock wheels with 2nd generation hubcaps. No lift, No mods to the fenders.

I just changed my rear wheels and tires today after being tired of looking at stock rims on my uncut 70 with no lift.Tried a set of stock 90 F-150 4X4 rims with P 235-R78 15s.Fit great but only have about 1/2 clearance to scrub the fender on the side if you bottom out hard but have several inches of height clearance to go with a taller tire.Tried to make it scrub and couldnt but was only hiway driving.Hope this helps.. ;D
