Tire/Rim size??

I finally saved up some money for some new tires and rims. After looking thru the forum I've decided to get 33x12.5x15 tires and 15x8 rims. The problem is I never bought rims before. I did some research and found that most EB's are 5x5.5 lug pattern. Is that correct?? I have a '73, V8 302 on a 3" suspension lift, and I found somewhere that the '73 has a 5x139.7 bolt part pattern.

Any advice or anyhting else I need to know for making sure I buy the correct size rim? Thanks!

LMAO... 5.5" = 139.7 mm

Funny..I've never before seen the EB bolt pattern expressed in metric units before.;D

I guess with those you have to use a 20.6375 mm lug nut wrench instead of 13/16"

Make sure that whatever wheels you purchase have a large enough center hole to clear the front hubs. Other 5x5.5 applications used smaller center bores that won't clear the Ford hubs.

You need a 4.25" center hole. Of course, if you're buying new rims, just tell them the vehicle they're going on and they'll find the correct match for you. . . most of the time!
