On stock or narrow rims you can 30's on an unlifted uncut. But with 8 1/2 inch wide rims you may need to stay with 29's or possibly smaller. Will also depend upon rim backspacing.

Yeah, you're gonna want to go ahead and just send those rims my way. I got some stockers that would better suit you :) I had 30x9.50 15s on mine before I lifted it and they fit just fine.

And if you do want to get rid of those rims you just let me know.

well it all has to do with the back spacing or how far it is from the mounting surface of th tire to the inner bead, like a depth.

Only saying that to get the biggest tire you can on an unlifted uncut Bronco(should we coin the term UUBR or UUBEr for Unlifted Uncut Bronco Enthusiast??) the rim plays an important part. The stock steelie is 5.5 inches wide. A 30 x 9.50 will tuck under the stock rear fender cut on a stock rim. It will rub on an 8.5 inch wide rim if the backspacing pushes the tire out at all - which it likely will. On my stock UUBR Ranger I have 275/75/15 BFG Muds on '96 BB alloy rims (either 7.5 or 8.5 wide, not sure) and they will rub slightly IN THE FRONT if I hit a bump while turning (like going into a driveway!) but they clear the rear OK. Here is mine on stock rims 30x9.5 tires. They fit fine but rubbed the radius arms at lock. That can be adjusted out with the knuckle stops though.

Scoop. When I had those rims I recall 7.5" wide. Rednck21 has them also and he says 7" wide. I honestly can't remember and since Rednck21 has a couple sets of them in the garage and he is selling me some parts right now, he is correct as it gets ;D.

If you don't want to lift it well it's your truck, but if I were you and I didn't want to go sky high I would shell out the bucks for a complete 2 1/2 inch system from wild horses, everybody raves about them and you can run 31's with no problem and your truck will handle better than ever.
