I have had these leafs on the rear for about 4 months now and they haven't settled enough to make the bronco level. I have james duff 3.5 springs in the front. I wanted to see if anyone has ran into this issue when they installed new leafs on the rear? Before the bronco had a add a leaf system and sat perfectly. I wasn't sure if I made a mistake going with the 3.5 inch leafs and should have bought 2.5 inch springs to be more comparable.

Why not just remove a leaf or two to get the ride height/stance you want? If it goes too low after however many miles, just add them back into the pack.

my experience with any new set of rear springs is that they need either just road time or more importantly go out and wheel them. They can be "glued" together and need some flexing to unglue them. The last set I bought was from BC many years ago and Chuck could not figure out why they road so high? Best guess was they were stuck, so I drove them around and through some low ditches getting the bronco crossed up and making the suspension flex. Eventually I got back and they were good to go.
To add to that, make sure you did not overtighten them at each end mounting point of the spring. You can tighten them down so much that when drop the truck on the ground after installation it will hold the bronco higher than it is supposed to be.

I have new TBP 11 pack rears, and removed the bottom 2 leafs. Truck sits much nicer now with my 3.5" front coils. If you later choose to run a heavier load, the leafs can always be reinstalled.

Thanks for the feed back guys. I took out the first two small leafs when I first installed them so I may need to take out a bigger one for the time being. James I'll get you that measurement .
