I’m leaning towards getting the major front disc brake kit from Tom’s off-road and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it?

Also, do I need to get the add on spindle seals and slingers? I have a Dana 30.

Thanks!

I am running Toms disk brakes on both broncos. A 30 and and a 44. I bought these 16-18 years ago, so the kits might have changed. I did change to Warn hubs.

I just put this kit on my 67' and it made a noticeable difference from the stock drums. I believe you'll need a spindle seal, but depending on your model, you may not need the slingers. I'd personally get everything and just send back what you don't need.

I bought WH's kit and it came with the large spindle seal and the small seal, depending on application (early vs late). I just removed the large seal and did the install. Already had slingers on the axle and the kit was very complete with the large rubber seals. Be sure to check Tom's inventory in the kit, so you don't double order anything. I like Bluwaves suggestion on getting everything once and send back what you may not need. No One wants to be down on a project, waiting for the next shipment of parts...

Order it over the phone and ask them what you need.

id do this too. much quicker so you can talk it out and they can send you the right parts. if you end up with extras (common) you could always send stuff back and maybe they'll cut you a break on shipping costs since you talked with them first. (y)
