WOW. What is it, something like 45 bolts holding the thing on. 4 people to get it off. It almost made me miss my old Wrangler, 10 bolts, 10 screws and 2 people. I now know this will be a seasonal thing only.

I assume everyone takes the wiper cover and visors off. Will the wiper motor interfear with the bikini top?

I will say that the fun starts when the top comes off. What a blast. Now I don't mind not having a radio.

Get a wiper motor drop bracket, they are like $10 from specialty top. Then your bikini top won't have a buldge in it. Good lookin truck by the way.

4 People ??? ??? ??? I know it's heavy, but I know you can handle it with 2. ;)

Get the drop bracket and you're good to go.

Nice EB.

O.K. 2 guys and 2 girls. The posts in the back were stuck and we thought it weighed 300 pounds. After they came loose 2 would have been fine. Live and learn.

Can you still use the wiper cover if the drop bracket is installed?

I feel your pain, every time I pull the top off I get a new scratch, takes the wife and both kids to help "at least I can blame them for the scratches" ::) I need to rig up a lift one of these days...

Your rig sure cleaned up nice, looks like it was worth the long drive... ;)

I had a rag top on my wrangler, and I can see what you mean. I am almost afraid to remove the hardtop on the EB, it may never go back on.

What color is that? it looks like the color that keeps peeking through the muddy purple eggplant the PO sprayed mine with. And I like the Hubcaps! kind of a modified baby moon!

Taking my hard top off was a pain that only got more difficult when I installed my family cage. Finally I got an STC soft top and I'll never go back. I liked my old hard top but it was too much of a hassle to get on and off. Since I live in California any weekend might end up being warm and sunny, even in January. I like the flexibility of putting the top up or down by myself in about 10 minutes.
