I think "The Car Show" with that Corolla guy is a better US version of Top Gear.
Top Gear US looks like a liability shy version of the UK version.
Just a note my all time favourite TOP GEAR UK is when they came to the US and drove the southern states, I still laugh everytime I think about that "road kill" cow on the roof of that Camaro.LOL
I was just thinking about how bad the US version is again and it occurred to me that I have never seen the UK show acknowledge the US version and vice versa. Two completely differnent networks and two completely different shows? Is that why the US version sucks so bad?
Looked to me like the Bronco was the tough truck. They kept abusing it and it kept going while they babied the jeep and the blazer. They are not considering the Bronco a tuff off road vehicle because it didn't finish due to a blown tire? What a bunch of morons. Was the first time i watched that show and will be the last.
I do like it for the fact it gives me more car shows to watch BUT I really don't like the show much.
DQ'ing the Bronco for a blown tire is garbage. Judging ANY vehicle model the best at something because one of the guys did better at Used car buying and got a well maintained car is retarded. As well, none of them are good drivers. Tanner may race but he couldn't drive a big truck to save his life.
I wish they would up the budget and quit buying crap cars for under a certain amount - $5k for an offroader to see which model is best? come on man. Put a trio of new 4x4's up against each other or buy some excellent maintained good used ones and don't do stupid trashing of them.
