I was hoping this thread was authored by Beerad.

Seriously though, good to see another Bronco lives.

I thought the same thing when I saw the thread name. Sounded exactly like him.
Was just texting him today. Blizzard blowing through his area with 9" snow and 50mph winds. I told him it was 80 here today
He should have a new thread soon...he is working on something "Special" in his garage

I'm not as lucky as all you guys who can truly go topless year round. We're in the middle of an ice storm right now. But I'll admit, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the challenges weather creates.

Been a few months since I've posted anything. Still working away on the geothermal project. Picked up a hydroboost this past week from a forum member. Think this will be a great addition to the build. Now that the weather has finally turned it's time to blast.

Has anyone ever discovered frame plugs/caps to install ?
I had a Jeep tj that I bought frame plugs for to help keep the little rocks out years ago. I've considered tigging each unused hole shut just for that reason. Let me know.

Arguments against closing all the holes:
Makes it harder for moisture to get out of the box frame, leaving it more likely to rust inside the frame. Which is all too often only discovered after catastrophic failure.
Makes it harder to pressure wash out mud and sand that get in from the open front of the frame.

Uncovered the frame over the weekend. Going to blast everything this week as soon as the sun comes back out.

Went and pulled the A-frame out of the woods. Haven't used this since dad and I restored our Case 680 backhoe way back in 1994. This thing will be really handy when blasting this week.
