Transfer case shift lever modification

Has anyone changed the obnoxious shift handle to something shorter? Can you buy a modified stick?

You can buy aftermarket shifters, single or twin stick. You can fabricate your own as well, you are only limited by your imagination and skill set. Do you have a J shift or T shift transfer case?

Just remember, the shorter you make the handle the more difficult it will shift.

I picked up a Pinto e-brake handle and housing off of Ebuy a while back to relocate the Bronco e-brake. I can see some potential here for your stated objective. Please keep us posted, I really like out-of-the-box ideas. Howard in beautiful West Michigan
