Trooper antenna

Where can I get the trooper antenna? I changed to it back on 2002 an now I can't find one. Where is everyone getting them?

Parts America did carry a replacement antenna just like the Trooper one. It was made by Metra but I do not now the Part number. At my local store it was in stock on the shelf.

I need to know more - what's the story with a Trooper antenna? Are you using this on a Bronco?

It doesn't look like it stands off the windshiled frame enough to clear a hardtop, can anyone confirm or deny this?

Let me know how those work out guys! I just got some stuff from Crutchfield and had I known about that Antenae I woulda gotten one of them. Currently running one of the window mounted antenaes that is powered and amplified and not really impressed with it at all. In fact I think it is a piece of GARBAGE at this point. %)

What about the ground for fiberglass bodies??

Do any of you experts think the windshield frame is enough steel to give a good ground plane?? he entire rest of my body is fiberglass and have struggled where to install an antenna that will give good reception - This might be the one?????
