Parts America did carry a replacement antenna just like the Trooper one. It was made by Metra but I do not now the Part number. At my local store it was in stock on the shelf.
Let me know how those work out guys! I just got some stuff from Crutchfield and had I known about that Antenae I woulda gotten one of them. Currently running one of the window mounted antenaes that is powered and amplified and not really impressed with it at all. In fact I think it is a piece of GARBAGE at this point. %)
Do any of you experts think the windshield frame is enough steel to give a good ground plane?? he entire rest of my body is fiberglass and have struggled where to install an antenna that will give good reception - This might be the one?????
