Is the OCBR trail rating system online somewhere?

I'm curious how it compares to the Colorado trail rating system.

With a tire in the air a simple 'trim' with the brake pedal will lock it.

I drove a rear Detroit "soft locker" for almost 20 years and right at 125,000 miles. I somewhere between disliked to hated every pavement mile but loved it in the dirt. Next one is going to be an ARB.

My front trutrac with one front tire in the air still allowed me to snap a stock front axle shaft. So it will lock up good enough. Been running a detroit soft locker in the rear and trutrac up front for over 30 years working as it should. Best money i ever spent ensuring for the most part i will get through where i shouldnt go and get safely home. Read the specifications on the trutrac and see if you really want it in the rear with 33 inch tires on a full time basis.

Read the warranty:

http://www.eaton.com/Eaton/ProductsServices/Vehicle/Differentials/FAQforDifferentials/index.htm

It's the last question on the bottom:

Q: What is the warranty?

A: The Truetrac unit is covered for one year from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship up to a 38."

So I would have no trouble trusting one or two with 33 inch tires, or 35 inch tires.

i was told the grizzly locker does not have good street manners, more aggressive than the detroit. i already have the truetrac up front so i will stay with it. undecided on the rear. i have a little time to decide because i am trying to mock up disc brakes for the rear. i have an explorer setup, but i can tell you already drums are way cheaper.

I went from stock limited slip in the front and ford SVO 4 pinion limited slip in the rear to Detroit lockers in both ends. LOVE them. Very occasional "pop" on the street or slight squeal of a slipping tire in a turn in no way obnoxious. Absolutely incredible traction advantage

Detroits front and rear. Traction is awesome. I run primarily offroad in the sand. When on pavement, its onlt rear wheel drive. tires chirp some but its an extremely small price to pay...

Not nearly as much difference if you don't have any brakes and are buying all the parts either way.

Been doing some reading, preparing to buy a diff for the rear end. I basically want to be able to go to OCBR and do mild trails. Would like to drive there, about 250 miles. I guess it comes down to whether or not i can live with the manners of the detroit? I know the truetrac will be well mannered on the street but will be able to handle mild trails. i will be running 33s with 2.5 suspension and 1 inch body and 4.88s. explorer efi and 4r70w. Other options?

Sorry to highjack, but what harness are you using for your EFI and 4R70W?

LOL guys, i think it is obvious, a man needs at least two broncos, one for the street/driver and one for the trails.

so how does the arb work, or at least what are the options for supplying air. where do you normally locate the actuator button, you guys have me considering the arb now. i already have a trutrac for the 44 so i am going to stay with it. i have had switchable lockers in utv's and i will admit they are nice.
