The only negative that I can think of (if you want to call it that) would be you will loose your inner fenders. It's better for cooling, but if you have a lot stuff mounted on them, you'll just have to find a way to mount everything to the tubes. Other than that, tube away! :p

I did mine also and was thinking of mounting some splash guards to keep copius amounts of tire spray off the engine and rocks picked up by the tires out of the radiator and back sides of the headlights.

Makes me wonder why I removed the inner fenders in the first place.%) ;)

Losing the core support makes for some interesting challenges when it comes to grounding points. As was said earlier, no inner fenders or wheel tubs makes for less mounting surfaces. I've got Ryan's headlight relay, but no place to mount it unless I extend the wires.

I am looking at tubing my core support. But why must you toss the inner fenders? I am looking to do it to clear out the rad support (already butchered) for a nice big rad, tranny cooler, A/C condensor. I have some perferated sheetmetal that I was going to do the inner fenders with for a little better heat rejection after the A/C goes in, but I don't plan to ditch the inner fenders. The battery has already been relocated to under the passenger seat.
