There was a thread recently where someone had posted a pic of their rig, and it had these older style turbine style wheels, and a few people really liked the wheels that guy had---

I found a set on CL, thought of my CB brethren... here's the link-

$350 obo, sounds like $200 & a six pack to me!

GOOD LUCK!

$350-too much IMO. If they were good slots-then yes. I have some 15 x 9 turbines on my Bronco and I like them. Some don't like the look. Just a matter of personal preference.

$350 could be him not knowing anything other than he has a pile of stuff & has to start somewhere for pricing. I bet you could get them for $200, maybe $250.

These are not slots (clearly). There was a thread where people were showing great interest, so I thought I'd give them opportunity.

I can't see them on my rig, otherwise I'd be beating him up on price myself.

Price is high, but I had a set on my first bronco and loved them! If I didn't already have new rubber on my rig I would give him a call.

I've got a set of American Racing wheels with centers (plastic) that are 15x7. I'd let them go for $250 plus actual shipping cost.........

I ran a set of Western Wheel Turbines for 15 years. 2 years ago I changed wheels and I could not give away the turbines. I ended up getting $22 bucks a piece for them at the scrap yard.

Personally, I like the turbines.
Wish I could find someone giving a set away.

Are these wheels actually called turbines? I'd love to have a set of them someday to use on my street tire set. I just need to know what they are actually called so I know what to search for. I'd love to have the set msweb has but I just don't have the money right now.

I have a set too, i will let go for 200 plus shipping. I would run them but they are too wide for my tires (10")

How hard would it be to cut them down and re-weld i wonder.....

Sorry smoke, but I sold them to another member on here yesterday. All I have now are 15x7 slots and 15x10 Hurricanes/Turbines like Grant (I think the name of them can be Hurricanes or Turbines depending on who actually made them).

Grant - I doubt it would be worth the time, trouble or cost to try and narrow the wheel but if you want to buy a set to practice with before cutting yours, let me know ;D

The 10'' ones would work on my muddin set but are to wide for my street set. I'll keep my eyes out for some. I have wheels for both sets right now these are just one of those things that are on my want list, not my need list.
