Shaft broke on my buddies Pro Comp HEI 351w distributor.
We are looking for a replacement and would prefer not to use the Pro Comp setup again.

Does anybody have the instructions from Turbo City for locking out the advance mechanism and setting initial timing?

What other options are available that will work with the Turbo City setup?
DUI? Pertronix? Duraspark?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go figure another cheap HEI bites the dust.
From what I understand you can use any magnectic triggered dizzy. So a stock duraspark dizzy would work fine. as for locking out the advance most people just remove the springs and weights and install a screw in the plates to prevent them from moving some people even weld them together. I wouldnt bother spending high bucks on a DUI or MSD ect as your pretty much only using a signal from the dizzy the computer controls the advance
