How much does the Twin Sticks/Transfer case, shift side to side while driving and off roading? Do I need to widen this opening? I currently have about an 1/8-1/4", on either side of the sticks.

Seems a bit tight.
Since it would be hidden by the boot, can you relieve some material on the side of the shifter shaft, or bend the drivers side shaft at all?

I traced the inside of the metal twin stick boot plate and cut that out since thats pretty much the max size hole you can make.
