U13 roadster door latches question

Can anyone confirm whether the B-pillar door post has the door latch strike installed on an Roadster?

My u13 has the original nut plate installed, but I wonder if it should have a door strike since there is no door.

If I remember correct, my 66 U13 did not have the door strikes under the door inserts, but not positive.
Just found photos looks like it had a place saver installed but no striker post.

Thanks! So it was just a single bolt without a striker so that the nut plate wouldn’t rattle?

That makes sense.
