I'm the guy who inherited my son's 72 Bronco which needed updating. I am pretty much clueless as to this type of vehicle so was very glad to find this site. As you may, or may not, remember, the suspension had been upgraded but work was still needed extensive work on the drivetrain, and some updating on various exterior parts, etc.
Found a local restoration shop for the repairs and they have finished all the work they found which was extensive. It runs quite well now. While it was in the garage, I purchased a bikini top and header bar and a few minor add-ons. Will be posting pictures when I get it back home. One thing I noticed is that there wasn't a rear seat in the Bronco and that there weren't any pre-drilled mounting holes either which made me wonder if it came with a rear seat at all; anyone know about that? Along with that question, do I only have the option of getting a "stock" replacement (or mounting jump seats (like show on this forum) or, could I install a rear seat from an early mustang fit in the space or double jump seat like in a WRX?
Appreciate this site and all of the knowledge that comes from the owners of Early Ford Broncos that I find.
