Just got the invoice from Ledfoot. Looks like we got the $175 price!
Just a word of caution about these radiators, or it appears ANY aluminum radiator really, a lot of failures have occurred because of how they are mounted. From what people have told me, you don't want them too rigidly attached. This goes for ANY aluminum radiator, not just the champions.
I have been told that as your body flexes your core support flexes as well, and if your radiator is too rigidly attached it forces that flex into your radiator. The rubber bushings in the mounts not only act as a vibration dampener, but allows for your core support to flex without distorting your radiator. You want the radiator free floating as much as possible, and you don't want your radiator hoses tugging on it heavily either.
I've installed a champion radiator on my dads jeep that he has run down in AZ for years and it has performed flawlessly. My brother installed one on his chevelle with a 454 and it sprang a small leak around the top seam in short order.
My 2cents - Careful of your install.
Thanks badmuttsang for putting this together!
My current radiator while still doing the job, has been pinched and sealed several times and is held together with JBWeld.
