Life lately has been extremely busy, but I’ve managed to get some Bronco time in!
First off, I did sell the 67 Military, the tan half cab, and Boxwood 69. My interests have changed, and shop space was cramped. Also it provided funds for other builds that’ll be starting very soon!
Dust Devil had a mysterious tick in the engine when I got it. To be perfectly honest, I’m still not certain what it was, but after having the head reworked and us reinstalling with a new gasket it went away. The machine shop said they didn’t find anything in the head, so who knows.
It was very under geared for my liking, so with some help from Dad it was swapped to 4.57/4.56 also. Big improvement!
As some of you saw in the previous for sale ads, it has some fender and flare damage on the driver side front. A local shop repaired and painted the fender and end of the front bumper, and a PDR guy is supposed to address the fender this week.
Also, I picked up a solid 73 Ranger for a future build for my son. I wanted his first to be a Ranger since mine was and it worked out. Yes I bought it way early, but it gives me plenty of time to find good deals on the parts it needs, and they aren’t getting any easier to find with a decent body!
